Marriage Monday.........Things that say I LOVE YOU!

Again, I got the idea from my favorite marriage blog......The Time Warp Wife.
Maybe one day I will have my OWN topics to talk about!  :)

She has 102 things that say I LOVE YOU to her or her husband.  I am not sure if I can come up with that many in the few minutes I have to blog this morning but I sure have some!

Here they are.......

This may be part 1.....

When he first winked at me at Sears almost 21 years ago!

The way he was always such a gentleman when we were dating.  I never paid for ANYTHING and never opened my own door.

When he asked me to marry him at a gas station because he couldn't wait any longer!  (I still tell him I need a redo one day!)

How he looked so handsome and SO YOUNG standing at the alter waiting to say I DO!

The way he's always encouraged my dreams and the things I love.

The way he's been such a great provider from the day we got married.

The day our first son was born.

The way he held me the day I found out we couldn't have anymore biological children.

The day he called me to tell me we are supposed to adopt.

The day they handed us Noah.

The day he said YES to Jesse.

The day we watched Jesse come off that plane!

The day I told him I was pregnant with our miracle girl!!!!

The way that he KNEW it was a girl and that she would have BROWN hair and blue eyes!

When he went to Haiti and came home a changed man.

How he feel in love with a tiny little Haitian boy that barely weighed anything and couldn't even swallow.

How he knew Vensly was our fifth and final child!

How he loves the country and the people of Haiti.

How he leads our home spiritually.

His prayers!

The way he kisses me on my neck EVERY morning before leaving for work.

How he dances like a crazy man!

How he makes me laugh like no one else!

The way he loves me unconditionally.

The way he loves my long hair.

Watching him dance with our baby girl!

Snuggling at night.

Senior's Win Tailgate!

This Saturday we worked our butts off for our seniors booth for the school tailgate party!  They won best set up!!!!  Actually, two mom's work hard every year and they win every year but since this is their senior year it was bigger and better and they pulled if off again!  We have some very special parents that work hard for our kids and really care!  We are blessed!

It was so fun and yes, I did shed a tear or two when one dad prayed over our kids!  Seems like yesterday we were just entering the little house for kindergarten!

Five on Friday........

Here are five things that I am loving this Friday!

1.  God Moments!  I had a God moment the other day and I got in my car in awe over Him and how he takes care of me even when I don't deserve it.  A random conversation with a teacher gave me confirmation of a HUGE decision that hubby and I have been talking about and praying about.  I can't wait to officially announce it soon!  It is one of the biggest decisions we have ever made in our marriage!  I try to remind myself that God's Will can sometimes make us uncomfortable at first but it's ALWAYS the right way!

2.  I love watching the movie "Facing The Giants".......if you haven't seen it go buy it HERE!

Watch a trailer HERE!

Every time I watch this movie I tell my husband "I want our kids in THAT school!!!"  I think I will watch it again this weekend myself.
It's a perfect family movie that will leave you in tears.....happy tears......but wanting to be more like some of the characters in the movie!  It's a story of trusting God with your life.....praying hard.....and believing in kids, parents, and others!!!

3.  I have never really been a clothes horse but I am loving the blog Hello, Gorgeous!

She has the BEST clothes ever and she shops at JC Penney, Kohl's, Forever 21, and other stores that don't break the bank!

This is one of my favorite outfits of hers........

4.  FALL!  I am loving this weather!  I love the smell of my Bath and Body Works plug-ins and the smell of soups cooking.  I love eating dinner outside with my family and hearing the wind blow!  I love hoodies and boots and pumpkins!  I love FALL!!!!!!

5.  Booking our trip to NYC!!!!!!   I get to go this December to see the lights, the tree at Rockefeller Center and watch the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City with the Rockettes!
I am so excited!!!!!

Marriage Quotes.......

I got an email a couple of weeks ago from a blog that I love to read.  She sends emails each morning and it's always full of great things!  Check out the Time Warped Wife.......

The email was full of marriage quotes and these were my favorites!  The first one I LOVE but I laugh because if we would have met any earlier it would not have been legal to get married!!!  LOL!
