As of today I am officially taking a break from Facebook.  I KNOW!  Ive said it before.....but this time I am actually going to do it!  Hubby already says I share to much and he's right.  I feel convicted over it a lot and I need to listen!  It's just not always a good thing.
Lately, it seems that my words get twisted or someone reads what I say wrong.  The fun seems to be gone from it.

I never want to give anyone the impression that my life is perfect because believe me it's NOT.  I'm a regular mom just like most of you that read my blog.  I try to be a good mother but lord knows I am far from perfect.  I am not a perfect wife either....far from it.  I have a great marriage that has taken a lot of hard work to get here but we can still have our petty arguments.  I tell you all that to say that of course I only share the good on Facebook and therefor maybe that paints a picture that isn't quiet accurate of my life.

I don't have a nanny or even parents that live close by anymore.....I take care of my own children and when we go somewhere they usually go with us.  Maybe not all 5 but at least 4 go!  I clean my own house except on Wednesday and then someone else does it but by Thursday it's messy again!
I don't know why I am telling you all this except to say that blogs and facebook can paint a picture of a very different life then reality.

If you want to keep up with our big little family than please check in here as I will try to update when I can!  I will only post of facebook when I update!

God Bless each of you!

It's all looking new again!

Lots of people have been asking to see what I have done so far!  Well here is some of it!  It's far from being finished but I am in LOVE with my house so far.
A great BIG huge thank you to the sweet and very talented HOLLY MATHIS!

These pictures might be random as blogger was acting really weird for me tonight!

I painted all my cabinets white with Annie Sloan old White!
I still need to wax them and add pulls!

I was told that adding big and most of the time OLD cutting boards is a good way to cover your back splash
if you don't like it!

These are the best Ikea baskets ever!  They come in many sizes and are cheap!

My goodwill lamp and PB shade that I got for $9.

My olive bucket that I haven't decided what to put in it yet!
Also, a glimpse into the dining room that will be the last to be finished!

Holly bought these little hooks in Round Top!  I love the green!
The basket is full of toys!

Im not sure if these book wreaths look good here or not?  I know my momma will tell me if they don't!

My sweet little lamp that I love!

Holly sells these topiaries and we put them in a few places and I love them!
Pottery Barn lantern!  LOVE IT!
I love these bottles that Holly bought....I would have never bought these
on my own!  Glad she did!

The bookcase turned out great!

The Aiden Console table that matches my bar stools.

Goodwill find with a bird nest underneath!

My favorite topiaries of all of them.

My "Us" letters that Holly bought.....I love them and the colors!

So glad I got to keep my Altar'd table!

Vensly's First Day......

After thinking about it and praying about it we decided to let Vensly try Wee School on a trial basis to see how he does.  He asks every week to go to school with Emmie so today he got to go!!!!  Im not sure if he really knew where he was going but he was excited to wear his new jeans and his new backpack and VERY excited that I packed him a lunch!  It was so cute......

When we got there he walked in and at first was a little uneasy as all the kids were crowded around the "new kid".  Emily showed him where to put his backpack and lunch and he told me bye and that was it.  He had a GREAT day!!!!  His teacher actually just called to tell me again how much she enjoyed him and how great he did.  She said he cleaned up and played and made a new friend!!!
I am so happy for my boy.....I know he will learn so many new things.
